Audio beat detection
Drop in an audio file, read its tempo, and apply that BPM to a MIDI file so the tracks lock closer to the groove.
MIDISplitter 1.5 Beta
Number of Open Beta Tester Spots Available: 7
MIDISplitter 1.5 is adding beat detection, looping, real-time meters, and more expressive track controls. It is close enough to test, and it needs musicians who will try it on real MIDI files and say what actually works.
What's New in 1.5
Drop in an audio file, read its tempo, and apply that BPM to a MIDI file so the tracks lock closer to the groove.
Set a loop range, audition it, and export a clean MIDI loop for a DAW, sampler, or writing session.
Shape individual tracks before export with practical controls that do not require opening a full DAW.
Watch per-track meter activity during playback so it is easier to see what is playing while you audition parts.
Who We Are Looking For
Beta testers should be people who actually use MIDI: producers, composers, teachers, students, arrangers, hobbyists, or anyone who has downloaded a MIDI file and wished the cleanup was faster.

What We Will Ask
You do not have to write an essay. A few honest sentences about what felt right and what felt rough can be more useful than a polished review.
